Crowns

A dental crown is also known as a cap that’s placed over a diseased tooth. It’s used to restore the tooth’s function, shape, size, appearance, and structure. Dental crowns can be used to fix minor fracture or chipped tooth, teeth gaps, discoloration, and malformation. These easily hide minor teeth imperfections so that patients’ smiles are restored.

One of the best features of this restorative treatment option is its affordability as compared to other treatments. Crowns can be made from ceramic or porcelain materials. Most dentists suggest porcelain materials since these are more durable and they resist stains.

This type of dental restoration is usually completed in two dental visits. First, we remove a portion of the tooth enamel and take an impression of the tooth that needs treatment. The model is created, sent to the dental laboratory for fabrication and is sent back to our clinic after two weeks. Once ready, we set the crown to check the fitting and make adjustments when necessary before cementing it permanently.

If you are looking for an affordable tooth restoration, a dental crown is your perfect choice. Schedule your appointment when you call us at (647) 930-0068.
