Dr. Ramlaggan has 27 years of active experience and is well versed and practised in all aspects of dentistry. His areas of expertise include orthodontics with aligners and braces including non-surgical (no teeth removal necessary) orthodontic treatments, same day implants, cosmetic treatment including crowns and veneers, TMD (jaw disorder) treatments, sleep apnea and snoring appliances, gum surgeries, fully impacted wisdom teeth removals, and root canal treatments and re-treatments. Dr. Ramlaggan has been using Twilight Dentistry (medicated relaxed dentistry) for over 15 years now to help his apprehensive patients.

Dr. Ramlaggan is also known for his full mouth reconstructions for severely damaged teeth and jaws and in creating and restoring functional, aesthetic smiles.

Dr. Vasant Ramlaggan achieved his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1995 from the State University of New York, School of Dental Medicine, a top 6 U.S. Dental School. He completed his Specialist Honours B.Sc. undergraduate degree at the University of Toronto in Microbiology and Human Biology.

Accepted into several residency programmes in the U.S. and qualified in the only year able to practise in 25 states, Dr. Ramlaggan chose to return to his Southern Ontario community to complete a one-year Special Care Dentistry programme. During this time, he had the opportunity to care for a variety of patients, including those with disabilities. He has lectured to dentists on Smoking Cessation and Dental Lasers.

Originally from Niagara Falls, Dr. Ramlaggan has spent most of his adult life in the Toronto area. He is happily married and enjoys spending time with his wife and three amazing children. In his free time, he practices Iyengar Yoga, reads, loves all things Sci-Fi, barbecuing, movies and spending time with family and friends.
